Stewart has been wanting to get Lasik for a long time now. He finally decided to do it on Friday. I picked him up from the clinic around 5:30 pm on Friday night and he was supposed to keep his eyes closed, but stay awake, for at least 3 hours. We decided that being blind isn't much fun and there's not much you can do. He laid in bed and listened to the Mavs game on tv but it just wasn't the same. He was also supposed to have a series of eye drops every couple of hours on that first day. We decided I'd give him his last drops around 10:30 and then go to bed. I woke up to him cuddling me (a sign that he is also waking up) but it was still dark outside. I told him, "Don't wake up." I might have said that more than once. You all know how I love my sleep. He asked what time it was and I told him it was 4. He said, "What!?!" , but it was too late. We were up. I put some more drops in his eyes and we watched a movie. Luckily we were able to fall back asleep after it was over though. It made for a very eventful night. I'm so glad the surgery went well and that my husband is not blind. This is a picture of Stewart in the sweet goggles he has to sleep in for the next 2 weeks.

I would love to get Lasik someday. And those are sweet goggles!
I'm sooo jealous! Maybe someday...:)
AWESOME!!! Those are stylist.. I'm sorry I wasn't there for this surgery.. Remember one time when I brought you ice cream sandwhiches so you would feel better when you were down and you fell asleep in the middle of the bit.. FUNNY!! I miss you guys.. I'm glad Jess is there to take such good care of you..
Yes I am also jealous, but more so because I would love some of those sweet goggles!
Stewart I hope your eyes are good, b/c I TiVo'd "Twas the Night Before Christmas" mouse/clockmaker version, just so you could watch it with the kids when you come!
